Abstract

The article provides information on the life and legacy of Strahil Grozdanov, the Baptist preacher and leader of the Baptist movement in southern Serbia and Macedonia from 1950-1980. The author stated that Strahil is instrumental in the establishment of the Skopje Baptist Church, with his vision of moving to the third largest city in the former Yugoslavia has preserved the church. He is also instrumental in leading the entire Baptist movement south of Belgrade for 25 years, which strengthened several churches and emerge as successful mission points for Baptist life. However, his conflict with the Baptist Union ended in tragedy to his personal life and the entire mission movement in the south of Yugoslavia.
