In this article, the Institute for Applied Theology of the International Baptist Theological Seminary (IBTS) in Prague, Czech Republic, under the direction of Dr. Parush Parushev, presents the nature of its ongoing research from the North Caucasus Region of Russia for 2002, and offers some reflection on the data in the way of questions for further research. This marks the first publication of ongoing research in the regions covered by the the European Baptist Federation, i. e. Europe, extending to the eastern edge of Russia, and the Middle East.
