Full text not available from this repository.Abstract
"The texts of In Albania Cross and Resurrection refer to events that took place during the 20 years, 1991 to 2010 in Albania. Most of the time they refer to the reconstruction of the Orthodox Autocephalous Church of Albania from complete dissolution. At the same time they touch upon problems of a more general interest such as: Christianity and other religions, Islam, Religious Fanaticism, Clash of Civilizations, Modern Terrorism, Inter-Christian Dialogue, Inter-Faith Approach and Collaboration, Orthodoxy and the 3rd Millennium, Church and State, Church and youth, Xenophobia and Racism, Balkans: agitation and coexistence, Globalism, Peace and poverty in the modern world, and Economic crisis. In these interviews Archbishop Anastasios, with the deep knowledge that many years of religious studies and international experience offer to him, comments on contemporary social-political events and with clear insight, critical thinking and expressive language highlights their human dimension and wider significance." -- ‡c From back cover.
