The author offers two personal experiences illustrating ways in which Christians and Muslims might present their faith to each other. The first concerns a semester course given at the Ilahiyat Faculty of Ankara University from the fall of 1986. The second concerns " the Islam Month" at the Catholic Theological and Catachetical Center of Yogyakarta, Indonesia, when classes are suspended and students follow a programme on Islam presented by Muslim scholars; the month also includes discussions among Christians on their experiences.
