Abstract
After breaking the union of the Western Church beginning of the 16th century, the Reformation movement of returning to the original Christian ideals, arrived to the Balkan region. The spectrum of church of reformation heritage had varying success in this region. Evangelization of the Slavic population in the Balkans intensified in the mid 19th century. The author presents analysis of the biggest protestant churches in the Balkans, in the former Yugoslav federation.
