Abstract
Coming out of a communist context where seminaries and Bible schools were largely forbidden, great strides have been made in Central and Eastern Europe towards establishing their own contextualized theological education. Libraries and faculty development still require attention as does the emergence of a clear and authentic distinctiveness, independent of western influence.
