Abstract
This article in its first section will briefly outline the development of theological ideas that have lead up to the current meaning of inculturation. The second part of the article will present theological truths by which inculturation is founded and the criteria by which the results of such processes are decided. The third section tries to give some practical observations which are deemed as important in the successful implementation of inculturation.
