Abstract
Although Christianity and Islam are monotheistic religions, originating and developing in the Middle East and both dating back to Abraham, their doctrine of God is very different, which makes these two religions differ in both the confession of faith as well as in the practice of theological principles. In the present study we will highlight the fundamental features that make up the doctrine of God in Christianity and Islam. In fact, their similar origins have many things in common, which often lead many to the idea that the only difference between them is the religious and geo-political interest, an idea unacceptable from the point of view of our study. Therefore, the reader is urged to follow closely and analyze both the similarities and the differences between Christianity and Islam regarding the doctrine of God.
