Professor of Practical Theology at the Protestant Faculty of Charles University, Pavel Filipi, maps out the ecumenical efforts and relations of the churches in the Czech Republic and offers opportunities for cooperation between churches, whether at local level or in special ministries, such as prison, army, medical facilities. The reader focuses not only on the Czech religious scene, but also on the issue of mutual sharing of sacraments by churches. An integral part of the publication is a series of valuable attachments that deal with churches, statements of agreements between members of the Churches of the Leuenberg Community, agreements on mutual recognition of baptism, directives on mixed marriages, etc. In the words of the author, "the book is really meant to be a guide and those who think about what is on the field of Czech ecumenists can be engaged with other Christians, what pitfalls to avoid, what goals to set aside what they are not yet.
