This article will look exegetically on at the three key verses from the Gospel of Matthew (28:18-20), which relate to the "Great Commission" given by Jesus to His disciples. A detailed study of this text will help clarify, explain and encourage every local church to fulfil "The Great Commission" of Jesus. Furthermore study of this passage will help to avoid any misinterpretation of the text and also to see its practical application for the Church’s mission today.
