The primary mission of the Church is to proclaim Jesus Christ and realizing of salvation, which Jesus made on the cross. The cross is so true symbol of peace. Cross, thanks to the evangelizing mission of the Church, entered in the happening of any nation, but also is part of the history of humanity. This is not just a religious sign, but it’s also a symbol of human freedom. Free man may reject the Church and cross, but there is a loss of memory and Heritage Christian. Meanwhile, the real source of peace in human society is forgiveness and conversion, that is, introduction by man in his own inside of God’s law. Peace is not a utopia and is possible. And because it is possible, peace is a duty. That is why a man can and should make to the force of reason over force reasons. The Church, calling for peace, first and foremost, invited to do justice: Opus iustitiae pax – „If you want peace, work for justice”.
