Abstract

One of the greatest global threats of our time is the escalation of conflicts resulting from religious intolerance. It is therefore to be welcomed that there is widespread recognition in Hungary: the issue of interreligious dialogue needs to be addressed, as simplifying world explanations and short-circuited religious fundamentalisms - even in the "Christian" version - can form an explosively incendiary in central Europe. The volume, edited by Abraham Kovács, theologian in Debrecen, is therefore a niche one: studies covering a wide range of theological disciplines touch upon topics that are certainly worthy of further consideration: they encourage us to continue theological dialogue on interreligious dialogue.
