Abstract
The theological foundations of mission. The mission of the church is its mission in the world, so that the kingdom of God may spread, the kingdom which began on earth by our Lord Jesus Christ through his work of redemption and the sending of the Holy Spirit. From this point of view, the mission of the church has its deepest ground in the eternal love communion of the Holy Trinity, from which the Son and the Holy Spirit were sent into the world to free people from sin and give them eternal life in communion with the triune God to give.
