Abstract
Vocation and mission of the priesthood. The priesthood of vocation is associated with the priesthood of Christ, that is to say it follows only an ascending path, never descending or horizontal. The priest either goes up or gets lost. How the priesthood of Christ is sacrifice and source of holiness for the whole world, also the priesthood of vocation is the sacrifice and source of holiness not only for the priest, but for all the faithful who are entrusted to him, and their souls will be asked to the Judgement.
