In December 1981, the first issue of the magazine Always Nations was released. According to the decision of the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece, "the following decision (that is, of the Apostolic Ministry) regarding the publication of this magazine, to heal and minister to the spiritual needs of the work of the External Mission of the Church of Greece, was accepted and unanimously approved ». In the same decision it is emphasized that the mission "constitutes the primary and vital field of action of the Church". This year (2021) marks 40 years since the publication of the magazine Panda ta Ethnii, which was supposed to make known the missionary activity of the Orthodox Church to Greek men and women and at the same time mobilize them in various ways to support the actions for the evangelization of the nations. On the occasion of this anniversary, some facts are mentioned about its establishment, its subsequent course, its authors and readers, theological documentation, journalistic information, the message of the image and its multifaceted contribution to the support of the Orthodox missionary witness in the nations. The data mentioned in this text come from the writer's doctoral thesis entitled, Missionary periodicals and the recording of the Orthodox witness during the post-war period. Communicative approach.
