Abstract
"The re-evangelization of God’s people in contemporary secularized societies, as well as the evangelization of those who have not yet come to know Christ, is the unceasing duty of the Church.” The Myrrhbearing women were the first to be informed of this and they brought the Good News to the Apostles that then spread to the ends of the earth. The role of women is biblically safeguarded and, as evidenced by the history of the Church, women, in different ways in each society, offer the testimony of “hope within us” (1Pe 3:15).
