Abstract
In this paper we discuss the need for an increase in the role of women in the life of the Church. By doing this, the gap between Orthodoxy and Orthopraxia (Orthodox Practice) is breached. Simultaneously, the witness of our Church becomes more persuasive and more effective as it interacts with the facts and demands of the modern world.
