In the present research, several essential aspects related to the relationship between mission and eschatology outside the public divine worship, in general, and outside the Holy Liturgy, in particular, will be addressed. Thus, the missionary and eschatological character of the Holy Liturgy, in particular, as well as of the other church services, in general, finds continuity also in an extra muros manner, outside the walls of the place of worship where they are performed. Both mission and eschaton cannot and should not be considered concepts bounded in time and space. Therefore, the eschatological mission of the Church towards the world continues also extra muros, through the liturgy after the liturgy. And the world from here and now, through human values and through the religious freedom with which it meets the eschatological mission of the Church, is already beginning to become a world from then and there. Therefore, the eschatological mission of the Church towards the world, in order to shepherd the latter towards the Kingdom of God, presupposes both the agreement and the collaboration of the world. Themes such as the extra muros relationship between clergy and laity, the dilemmas and risks that the eschatological missionary message of the Church often encounters in this world and, not least, the background and the Trinitarian and apostolic impetus on which is the basis of all this eschatological missionary approach of the Church towards the world.
