This article proposes five fundamental outlines of a mission concept that can be biblical and relevant to modern times. First outline - The Bible is a missionary book by purpose and content, not just a book about missionary work. The second outline - God is the source and executor of the mission. Mission, contrary to popular belief, begins in the nature of God and in His redemptive works. He initiates and He accomplishes His Mission - Missio Dei. God's mission precedes the Church and establishes the Church as its principal instrument - the third outline of the mission concept. The church, then, is missionary in its very nature. The fourth outline - Jesus Christ is the model of the mission of the Church. He is the archetype of missionary service for the Church, which continues His mission on earth. In this article, we have identified only two aspects of the Christlike mission of the Church - the mission of incarnation and the holistic mission. The fifth outline of the mission concept is all nations as the focus of the mission of the Church. Since God is the only and absolute Lord, and not a totem, a national or regional deity, the mission of the Church covers the entire earth, all nationalities, and every person. The outlined five outlines of the concept of mission can be guidelines in the formation of a biblical and holistic concept of mission, which will allow the Church to fulfil its purpose in the world.
