This article is a journal version of the project report which is shorter than the book edition. But it still includes the history, premises, methods, area of the research and the results. The research was conducted in several leading theological schools in Ukraine. The authors of the project were looking for answers for the most important questions in theological education – how can theological training meet the needs of churches and society, what are the factors leading to high quality of the training and what are the stumbling blocks on the way? The article includes not only data and observations but also some conclusions and recommendations.
