Abstract
In this article the author is primarily concerned by theological-anthropological understanding of personality, which goes through its ontological change in the event and process of conversion/"preumljenje". With comparative analysis, the author reviews Protestant and Orthodox theological discourse of conversion and points to their similarities and differences. Conversion in this article is seen as a holistic, unique, existential phenomenon which changes the personality permanently. In the last part of the article, the author points to a few of the newer critical views in the traditional Protestant understanding of the doctrine of conversion and points to their importance in the context of the postmodern times.
