The article analyzes the specifics of foreign missions of the Russian Orthodox Church in the early XXIst century in the countries of Southeast Asia such as Thailand, Cambodia and Indonesia and identifies the stages of this phenomenon development. The authors conclude that the result of the active work of the ROC Mission in Thailand at present was not only the recognition of the church by the state, the increase in the number of community members, congregations, appearance of the monastery, but also the activity start of the Delegation of the Kingdom of Cambodia, which in 2013 was registered in the "Orthodox Christian Church of Cambodia (Moscow Patriarchate)". The Republic of Indonesia is also becoming an active Orthodox community, the appea-rance of which is connected with the name of Archimandrite Daniel, who became the founder of the Indonesian Orthodox Church, incorporated in 1991. The increased activities of the Orthodox Christians in Indonesia are connected with the transition of the Church in 2004 under the jurisdiction of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia and in 2008 due to the reunification of the Russian Orthodox Church and the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia under the jurisdiction of the Moscow Patriarchate.
