The guidance and spiritual assistance of people at the end of life is one of the important missionary themes of the Church. Fellows in this situation – most of them sick and suffering – need, almost without exception, not only medical care, but also spiritual care. The sympathetic approach to the fellow man that is at the end of life opens up the opportunity for us to help him use this time for spiritual growth, to strengthen himself in the belief that life now, at the end, shows its conclusions. No one can be without emotions at the Great Meeting, but they can be controlled if you get used to meeting, as often as possible, even here, with God, through the people who, serving you when you are sick and helpless, serve Him.
