Abstract

Today, the presence of theologians and the Romanian Orthodox Church (ROC) within the ecumenical movement in general and in particular in the World Council of Churches (WCC) is a fairly current topic. This debate has resumed in the last decade, especially after the adoption at the Holy and Great Synod of Crete of the document Relations of the Orthodox Church with the Rest of the Christian World.¹ The Synod took place between June 18-26, 2016, and brought together 10 autocephalous Orthodox Churches.
